Save Kindle Scribe Notes to Notion

To save your Kindle Scribe notes to Notion, email the pages from your Kindle Scribe to your Flowstate project address. Flowstate transcribes the handwriting and saves each note as a page in the Notion database or page you choose, usually within a couple of minutes.

Why Notion can't do this on its own

Kindle Scribe doesn't connect to Notion. Even on 2025-and-later models, notebooks can only go to Google Drive, OneDrive, or OneNote — not into a Notion page or database.

Email your notes

  1. Flowstate gives you a unique email address for each save location, so you can route different notes to different places. Journal pages get saved in one place, lecture notes to another.
  2. Open your Kindle Scribe notebook. Select the pages you want to send, tap the share icon and choose to send it by email, as a PDF. Enter your Flowstate email address.
  3. If you want, you can use the email body to give Flowstate optional instructions for how to read your notes. For example, tell Flowstate how to interpret your shorthand, or how to turn handwritten symbols into formatting, tags, and more.
  4. Send it off!

Flowstate takes it from there

After you send in your note, Flowstate transcribes it, adds a title, and automatically saves it to the location you chose in Notion. It usually takes just a couple minutes.

A copy of the original handwriting or audio file is also saved to Notion under each note (if it fits in the file size limit of your plan).

Common questions

Do I need to install anything on the device?

No. You use the built-in send-by-email feature — nothing to install on the tablet itself.

Where exactly do notes land in Notion?

Wherever you point them: a database (each note becomes a page), a subpage under a page you pick, or appended to an existing page.

Does the original file come along?

Yes, a copy is saved under each note, as long as it fits your plan's file-size limit.

How much does it cost?

Flowstate runs on credits. One page of handwriting, or one minute of audio, is one credit. You start with 50 free credits, no card required, and top up whenever you're running low. Purchased credits never expire.

Does Flowstate rewrite my notes?

No. It transcribes what you wrote, cleans up the formatting, and files it where it belongs. Your words stay your words.
