Save Handwritten Notes to Google Drive
To save your handwritten notes to Google Drive, snap a photo of the page in the Flowstate app. Flowstate transcribes the handwriting and saves each note as a Google Doc in the folder you choose, usually within a couple of minutes.

Why Google Drive can't do this on its own
You can upload a photo of your page to Google Drive, but it stays an image. Drive's "Open with Google Docs" OCR is built for printed type and stumbles on handwriting — it can't follow your shorthand.

- Open the Flowstate app and tap the camera. Line up your page and take a photo. Or choose some from your gallery.
- If you want, you can give Flowstate optional instructions for how to read your notes. For example, tell Flowstate how to interpret your shorthand, or how to turn handwritten symbols into formatting, tags, and more.
- Send it off!

What format do the notes arrive in?
Each note becomes its own Google Doc in the folder you choose, or gets appended to an existing Doc.
