Save Boox Notes to Notion
To save your Boox notes to Notion, share the pages to the Flowstate app right on your Boox. Flowstate transcribes the handwriting and saves each note as a page in the Notion database or page you choose, usually within a couple of minutes.

Why Notion can't do this on its own
You can put the Notion app on your Boox, but it won't read your handwriting. Boox's export leaves you a PDF or rough OCR to paste into a Notion page yourself — it won't transcribe and file it for you on its own.
Share to Flowstate
- Install Flowstate on your Boox tablet.
- Use any handwriting app of your choice to take notes. Tap the share icon. Pick Flowstate.
- If you want, you can give Flowstate optional instructions for how to read your notes. For example, tell Flowstate how to interpret your shorthand, or how to turn handwritten symbols into formatting, tags, and more.
- Send it off!
Flowstate takes it from there
After you send in your note, Flowstate transcribes it, adds a title, and automatically saves it to the location you chose in Notion. It usually takes just a couple minutes.
A copy of the original handwriting or audio file is also saved to Notion under each note (if it fits in the file size limit of your plan).
Common questions
Does Flowstate run on the tablet itself?
Yes. It's a regular Android app, installed from Google Play right on the device.
Where exactly do notes land in Notion?
Wherever you point them: a database (each note becomes a page), a subpage under a page you pick, or appended to an existing page.
Does the original file come along?
Yes, a copy is saved under each note, as long as it fits your plan's file-size limit.
How much does it cost?
Flowstate runs on credits. One page of handwriting, or one minute of audio, is one credit. You start with 50 free credits, no card required, and top up whenever you're running low. Purchased credits never expire.
Does Flowstate rewrite my notes?
No. It transcribes what you wrote, cleans up the formatting, and files it where it belongs. Your words stay your words.
